Back up your plan

Download a copy of everything you've added - recipients, gift lists, tasks, budget, and ideas. Keep the file somewhere safe. You can restore from it anytime.

Suggested: back up weekly, and before clearing your browser.

Suggested: back up weekly, and delete older backup files from your Downloads folder every few weeks to keep your device tidy. GILDWYN only needs your most recent backup to restore from.

How your data stays safe

  • ✦Nothing leaves your device. GILDWYN stores your plan only in this browser, on this device. We have no servers storing your data - nothing central to be hacked.
  • ✦No account, no password, no email. We can't lose or leak information we never ask for.
  • ✦Encrypted in transit. The gildwyn.app site uses HTTPS, which means anything moving between your browser and GILDWYN is encrypted and private.
  • ✦You own your backups. When you download a backup file, keep it somewhere safe (not emailed to yourself, not left on a shared computer). It's a copy of your plan, so treat it with the same care.

GILDWYN does not collect your email, name, or any personal information. Nothing you add here leaves this browser unless you choose to back it up.
